Today, I as Chief Guest visited Police School of Explosive Handling, Nowshera and found much improvements to have been made teem the last year in the institution credit of which goes to Mr. Niaz Muhammad SP/Director I also observed that Mr. Qasim Ali Khan DPO/Nowshera is taking much interest in the development of the institution. I appreciate the interest of these officers for the well being of the institution and wish him success for the well being of the country.

After assuming charge as Addl: IGP/Headquarters, this was my first visit to this institution which was quite impressive. Training being imparted here must have should many intensive lines, both civilian and police officers which is a contribution worth all over Pakistan. According to the scheduled programme today i visited the Police School of Explosive Handling Nowshera. The school is well tidy and properly maintained in each dimension. SP Niaz Muhammad Director of School is high qualified and well exasperation person. He has managed all the requirements by his own sources. He has a bright vision in future and want to it as model in Pakistan as well as Asia. National Commission of Human Rights Govt: of Pakistan will extent his cooperation in every dimension. NCHR will support the administration of the school as they recommended for the betterment of the institute. I personally appreciated the steps taken by the school administration.

I visited the same school and found this institution as really beneficial for the Police Force. It was a great achievement that over 1700 Police personnel had been trained and now they can protect their selves of the Explosive Devices. Today I came to Police School of Explosive Handling Nowshera to distribute certificates to the 24 participant of the course "Post Blast Investigation and Evidence Collection". I was amazed to witness how in a short time of one year this school has been developed from their scratch to such a modern facility; which is the pioneer in the history of policing in Pakistan. This school is one small part of the initiatives & reform initiated by the IGP, Nasir Khan Durrani. The School is equipment and the trainee police officers are trained in the modern concepts of explosive handling as well as evidence collection in the Post Blast Crime Scene scenario. I hope that the keen interest of Police Leadership. This School will play a pivotal role in the fight against terrorism and making Police Officers in Pakistan equip with modern skills and improve their professionalism.

Honoured to be the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony. Here at Police School of Explosive Handling in Nowshera on the eve of end of important training course, on the topic of "Juvenile Justice and Child Sensitive Investigation" organized by KPK Police in collaboration of UNICEF for Police Officers Posted in various Police Station throughout the province. I am much delighted to see the enthusiasm and keen interest of the trainees towards their professional development and capacity building in the field of Juvenile Justice System and Investigation of cases of Juvenile. I appreciated the personal efforts and endeavors of the incumbent IGP (KPK) Mr. Nasir Khan Durrani, who has very kindly established Six Specialized Schools in our province for capacity building of police officials, which will go long way in good service delivery to the public at gross route levels and this will also remove the bad image of "Thana Culture" among the masses, thus, I am fan of Mr. Durrani for his such genitive achievements and do hope he will also "keep it up" in future days. The work of incumbent principal of this school SP Waqar Ahmed is also worth praising and I give him pat of appland on his shoulder as I found him "right man on right job" as rightly chosen by the IGP (KPK) and is being supervised by my friend Mr. Shafqat Malik, AIG/BDU. Today it was my first visit to this school and I was delighted to see the practical demonstration of the modern gadgetry need for handling explosive material. The infrastructure of the school is quite good and the minor deficiencies shall be removed soon. The commitment of the staff was evident from their body language, their grape and knowledge about the subject thought. It is hoped and Inshaa ALLAH shall be the goal of KP Police to continue building the capacity of Police Personnel through quality meaningful learning.

It gives me immense pleasure by visiting yet another important Training School of KP Police, the School for Explosive Handling Nowshera. I am very impressed by this "first of its kind" facility in the whole of the country. It is further heartening to learn that so far about 1000 Policeman have been trained in this specialized field. The presentation given by the Principal, Mr. Waqar Ahmed, SP, described the need and utilization of this relevant knowledge, particularly keeping the volatile and vulnerable environment of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last more than four decades in mind. I must congratulate him for being able to run the affairs of this institution very smoothly and with utmost competence. I will be a miss if I don't acknowledge the leadership of the Honorable Chief Minister of KP Mr. Pervez Khattak and the flag bearer of the KP Police Mr. Nasir Khan Durrani in their receptive visions and strong resolves to improve and strengthen the Police Force of this province to deal with all kinds of Law & Order situation. The establishment of Six Training Schools, thus, happens to be a great contribution of the aforesaid personalities to promote and strengthen our police force for the times to come. All those have been lucky to avail these facilities will, Inshaa ALLAH be able to employ their capabilities and tchnical know-how in defending their motherland.
